Okunoyu

Okunoyu is a grayish-black sulfur spring gushing out from the bottom of a cone-shaped pond called “Fuki”, which is part of the crater made by the eruption of Mt Hiyori. The surface temperature of the pond is as high as 75℃ to 85℃, giving it the appearance of a boiling kettle of water.
