Lake Kuttara Senkei Observatory

This traditional Japanese fan-shaped observatory is located in the northwestern part of Lake Kuttara. It stands at an elevation of about 320 meters and offers a view of the lake from above. It is said that the name Senkei (which means fan-shaped) comes from the fact that part of the round Lake Kuttara looks like a fan.
